4. PORCHETTA & CO.
Information and Reviews
The place is known for its delicious sandwiches and friendly service. With a rating of 4.4 stars, it's evident that customers love the experience at this sandwich shop. Here are summaries of a few customer reviews:
- Ive seen this place for years and wanted to try it out. Food was decent, but the portions for the price was not as expected. My friend was surprised too because he's eaten here in the past. I guess in this climate its really hard on small businesses.
- I came here for porchetta and fried chicken. The porchetta was mediocre at best. I ordered the fried chicken and it came very raw, literally with blood gushing out. I sent it back. They didn’t apologize but offered to make me a new one. New one was also raw, blood gushing out again. I returned it. No apology. No refund. Nothing. I can’t believe a place would give you food like this and not even apologize. Horrible customer service and, ya, raw chicken.
- Nice people, good sandwich. Can't get much better than that can you? (Also there a review below that states they have a 18% minimum gratuity for takeout. They do not, there is no required gratuity at all)
- Ordered two house special sandwiches today from Porchetta and Co. on King St. W. Sadly, the recent changes are disappointing – not only have they jacked up the prices, but the quality and portion size have noticeably decreased. It’s disheartening to see a constant increase in prices without a corresponding improvement in the dining experience. Adding to the disappointment is the expectation of a minimum 18% tip for takeout. This seems excessive, especially when coupled with the observed decline in portion size and quality. Such changes are a shame for a place that used to offer a satisfying experience. Hope to see positive changes soon.
Overall, PORCHETTA & CO. is a great place to grab a quick bite and enjoy a tasty sandwich in a casual and cozy atmosphere.

Several customers have shared their experiences at Toasty:
- Sometimes all you crave is a simple sandwich. This toasted chicken and salad really hit the spot. The bagel looked good too.
